Small insect - bottom view

Small insect - bottom view
Carp (just west of Ottawa), Ontario, Canada
August 24, 2009
Size: Approx. 2 1/2 mm?
I found this insect after I brushed the back of my knee and it fell off. It was about 3am, and the last time I was outside was when walking the dog 8 hours previously; but I can't imagine it managed to stay on the back of my knee through all that time and the changing of clothing.

Unfortunately most of its legs are missing, I imagine from my hand brushing it off. It's also extremely flat- the body is almost paper-thin, but I'm not sure if that's normal or if it got squished.

Pseudo Scorpion
I have a strong feeling to this being a Pseudo scorpion. The body is similar to that of a tick, but the forearms show more of a Pseudo Scorpion
