Locust Twig Borer Moth larva - Ecdytolopha insiticiana

Locust Twig Borer Moth larva - Ecdytolopha insiticiana
Ballston Lake, Saratoga County, New York, USA
August 24, 2009
Size: about 0.5 inches
This black locust seedling had a swelling with a hole at the top that had frass around it. I split it open, and found a red grub inside. ID help is appreciated.
