Taken in sunken pitfall trap beneath pile of fresh and rotting flesh elevated on twig raft and covered with weighted wire basket to discourage tampering by birds and mammals. Part of the one-day 2005 Maine Coleoptera Blitz, a sanctioned biosurvey in the national park.
