Size: similar to a bumble bee
strange yellow and black bug that looks similar to a bumble bee....but def different. lived in this area my entire life; ive never seen one before.

Looks like a Hummingbird Clearwing moth
I'm not a moth expert so the species needs confirmation but I get these down here in Virginia and the first one i ever saw when i came to the USA was in WV outside of Spencer.
