Awesome photo, Ron! I love multiple-species shots. Pretty certain your hopper is one of the Orgerius. I've gotten to photograph quite a few of them around my place:



The one I photographed above doesn't look much like yours, but I have other photos I haven't posted of one with a very similar coloration -- mottled gray with black markings. I don't know how much time you had to observe this guy, but they are really fascinating! They have an odd upright posture and they walk with a kind of jerky pace accompanied by the constant tapping of their long, exploratory front legs.

Oh, and that's a beautiful spider too.

 
Embarassing
I didn't see the hopper, Harsi, until the photo hit the computer. Wish I'd have focused (literally) on it instead of the spider. Was doing a lens test and didn't quite get the kind of macro images I'd expected.
