Hmm...
I think you may be right... Anomis erosa - Yellow Scallop Moth - Hodges#8545 seems a better match...

bummer. according to James Adams, the only way to accurately separate those two is by examining genitalia. oh well, maybe another will show up, so i can nab it. ;)
