Caddisfly - Agrypnia vestita

Caddisfly - Agrypnia vestita
Stafford, Stafford County, Virginia, USA
September 23, 2005
Came to UV light. I am clueless. I have no idea what it is. Help very much appreciated. I have searched for it but I must be looking in all the wrong places.

Moved
Moved from Caddisflies.

Phryganeid
Probably Agrypnia vestita. This is the only Agrypnia species that I see listed for VA, and the appearance and markings look like vestita to me.

I think I found it
Is it a Caddisfly?

Yes, Caddis Fly
Caddis flies have been some of the most frequent visitors to my UV lights, although I think it is a little late in the season for them now. I'll bet you see loads of them in the spring and early summer. Some of them have bold markings. Those are the only ones I've photographed (none posted here yet) unless I happen to get one in the same shot as another insect.

Thanks Jim
I had only seen the really small ones before this. I will be looking forward to spring.
