My moth expert in New Brunswi
My moth expert in New Brunswick, Jim Edsall, says this (after viewing the BG page):

Your moth looks like Viribia (Holomelina) aurantiaca. It is pretty hard
to say with certainty without seeing the hindwing, but the locality, a wood
road, suggests that species rather than V. lamae which is almost entirely
restricted to bogs.

So, Holomoline aurantiaca #8121?

That's for you to decide.............
Personally, I'd accept the local expert's advice. "Probably," "most likely," and "suggests that species" is as good as it gets in many cases.

Done! Thanks, Bob!
