I notice this species is also called the Large Maple Spanworm on odolep.com/Moths/GEOMETRIDAE/6982Prochoerodes..., but on bugguide.net, Prochoerodes lin*eola is given the same common name.

Prochoerodes transversata
was treated as a synonym of
P. lineola
in Malcolm Scoble's
Geometrid Moths of the World
(1999). There's already a BugGuide page for Large Maple Spanworm
here
.
