Giant Lichen Orbweaver? - Araneus saevus -

Size: ~20mm

We found this big beautiful female orbweaver on a lichen-covered buckthorn that had been cut during restoration activities in an oak woodland. It's shaped like the giant lichen orbweaver but it didn't have any green color at all. Ideas?
