3754 - Aethes angulatana [old Hodges 3807]
Identified as most likely by Michael Sabourin, Referee for Cochylini at MPG. He dissected the specimen in his collection most like this one and compared the genitalia with that of four species of similar appearance, also considering date and locality. Not many moth photos will ever get this degree of attention from a specialist, but this is a great photo of a wonderful specimen. Makes a hungry moth-er drool :-)
