is what I concluded from microscopically examining two specimens fitting this image that you had sent me from the same locality dated Aug 18. Tim please recheck your specimen for the characteristic pubescence on prosternum and abdomen noted in Lindroth couplet #14. Also, note that entire dorsum is shiny from complete absence of microsculpture. If you accept, please notify BugGuide about the "introduced" status of this species. Thanks for these and other nice additions to my reference collection. I'm very slowly going through the carabid material you sent.
