Grasshopper of some kind 4 - Spharagemon

Grasshopper of some kind 4 - Spharagemon
West PLains, Oregon County, Missouri, USA
July 31, 2005
I can't figure out what kind of grasshopper this is...there are three other pictures of it posted by me

Spharagemon sp.
This is a female band-winged grasshopper in the genus Spharagemon. The orange hind tibia, strongly-banded forewings (called tegmena), and single notch in the pronotum (top of thorax) are key characters for several species in this genus. They are also very common in that part of the country (I collected many near Forsyth, Taney County, MO).

Hadrotettix trifasciatus
It is a female Hadrotettix trifasciatus.
