Anthophora? - Anthophora

Anthophora? - Anthophora
Arvada, Jefferson County, Colorado, USA
September 1, 2009
Size: abt 14 mm
This bee was very skittish and flew off quickly. It reminded me of the Anthophora I saw a couple of weeks ago, but that one had a black abdomen. Both bees were feeding on Verbena.
