brown-grey Moth with small black wingspot - Caenurgia togataria
Madrona Marsh Preserve, Torrance, Los Angeles County, California, USA
July 22, 2005
This specimen was photographed in July of 2005, I also saw one in April of that year.

It resembles certain Semiothisini, like Digrammia, but also Caberini, like Drepanulatrix, but none match very well ...

I'd love to find out who this is.
