This crab spider appears to be from the genus Coriarachne. This individual is at least 0.3 in. and was photographed on my garage

I agree with placement insofar that other images that compare are of that genus. Of course that's my assuming that they are indeed Bassaniana.

How do you tell?
The difference? It looks to me kind of like a Xysticus triguttatus.
3 banded crab spider I think is the common name here..

If Coriarachne...
Then I think it must be C. brunneipes, since that's the only member of that genus in NA (See The World Spider Catalogue). Why Coriarachne?

I counted four species indigenous to NA: lenta, utahensis, versicolor, and brunneipes. I did a google search of utahensis and found an image. Looks quite similar. This spider is very flat. Xysticus is more upright in its stance. I.E. The spider I photographed was flat enough to hide in narrow spaces in the T-111 wood siding.
