Wasp - Tachypompilus ferrugineus

Wasp - Tachypompilus ferrugineus
Powell Gardens, near Kansas City, Johnson County, Missouri, USA
September 6, 2009
Size: around 15 mm
Any ideas on this one? I'm a bit more lost than usual with this wasp...

Moved from ID Request.

wasp
Perhaps a Trogus?

A definite possibility...
There were a few Swallowtails around too, so that would make sense...

Not ichneumon
I believe this is a male Tachypompilus ferrugineus, but lack of detail of wing venation and antennal segmentation leave me only guessing.

Might have some other shots at home...
Was testing out a new camera, so I wasn't too comfortable with it yet...
