Not an expert but...
...please take a look at these Piezogaster calcarator nymphs.

Yours is still a nymph. When it reaches adult hood it will look like:

Male:

-or-

Female:

Of course, this depends on whether or not I am correct about this being Piezogaster calcarator :)

Not an expert but,
Thank you , that would seem fitting,as i have spotted many of both male and females :Piezogaster calcarator..

Any chance of...
you getting an adult and a nymph in the same image? That would be a great addition to BugGuide...

Any chance of
Ron ,

How's this for a chance ? It took a bit of hunting , but here you go , all 3!!! How did I do for a (newbie)? LOL

Great job!
I don't know how I missed this before. Too many emails I guess...

An image (or three) showing a nyphal Piezogaster calcarator (more found here) with adults is certainly a welcome addition to the guide.

I also place a thumbnail on the Information page of the Piezogaster nymphs (link above).

Any chance of
Sorry Ron, what I meant to say was that I'm seeing lots of male and female adults .This is actually the only nymph I have seen, it was about 50 yards from the adults , in my flower bed .I'll see if I can get a shot of both together ..Thanks again for your quick ident.
