Tibicen canicularis
In all likelihood, this is T. canicularis, the Common or Northern Dogday Cicada.

There are several features used to distinguish 4 very similar members of the Genus (incl. T. canicularis, T. linnei, T. robinsonianus, and T. pruinosus). Unfortunately due to geographic and individual variability few, if any of these features are 100% reliable (i.e. bowing of the costal margin, node position, eye color, opercular shape, + a few others). To further complicat things, there may be several additional undescribed, yet similar species, and numerous "hybrids" across parts of the South and Midwest.

Thanks
Thank you so much for the information about this Genus.
