Fritillary - Boloria selene

Fritillary - Boloria selene
Allegheny Nat'l Forest near Marienville, Forest County, Pennsylvania, USA
August 15, 2009
Size: Wingspan ~4cm
I'm terrible at this. Hope someone will confirm or deny my ID. Thanks in advance.

Moved
Moved from Bog Fritillary.

Silver-bordered
Is there a reason that you rejected the silver-bordered fritillary (Boloria selene)as an ID of this individual? A ventral view would clinch it, but I'm almost positive that's what you have there. I would find a report of enomia from the Alleghenies to be most surprising.

Correct
Doug, I think you're correct.

going to say no
Based on range (too far south) although I can't say which it is.

Canadian Government Website
Maps the bog fritillary and shows a specimen documented scarcely 100 miles north of where this picture was taken.
