Western Conifer Seed Bug
This one looks like a Western Conifer Seed Bug (Leptoglossus occidentalis) so the nymph just happened to be in the same vicinity since the nymphs for these bugs look much different.

Which is a leaf-footed bug, Leptoglossus occidentalis. I'm not an expert on these, so I'd wait for confirmation.
