Ancistrocerus (male?) - what species? - Polistes dominula

Ancistrocerus (male?) - what species? - Polistes dominula
Roanoke, Virginia, USA

I'm assuming that this is Ancistrocerus.

BugGuide only shows a few of the many species. None of the pictures show a specimen with orange on the ends of the antennas (most are orange on the underside). I found one image on the web that is identified as A. oviventris , but I can't find any indication that this species occurs in the US.
