Found this when I was dissecting a gall/growth on a Himalayan blackberry. Any idea what kind of nymph this is?

gall
Do you have a picture of the gall before it was cut?- some of the bugguide experts can identify the creatures by the shape and makeup/location of the gall. Also, there are wasps that cause stem galls on blackberry canes- this thread discusses those- http://bugguide.net/node/view/51067#49620

I have a previous post on just the gall here. I suspect this nymph was just a hitchhiker and really had nothing to do with the gall.

Not related to gall
I agree, but I'm glad Joe brought that page to my attention, since we didn't have a guide page for that genus or species yet. Wish I had a clue about this nymph, but I'm stumped.

Membracid?
I'm thinking it is a membracid nymph, but am hard-pressed to back it up:-)
