Plume Moth - Hellinsia balanotes

Plume Moth - Hellinsia balanotes
Mobile (Dog River), Mobile County, Alabama, USA
September 8, 2009
Size: 42.6mm ws
This is the LARGEST plume moth I have ever seen. I haven't been able to find on BG or in any of my books. Carefully measured the wingspan across the dihedral, which is conservative to actual length of wings. Body length measured 22.6mm. Needless to say, I need some help with this one. Thanks
