Moved from ID Request.

ID
This looks like Poecilanthrax, but I can't decide which one.

Suggestion
Move your post to Bee Flies for expert attention. What's most important with these is showing wing patterns and veins.

Thanks
for confirming the family (I wasn't sure) and for the suggestion. I'll leave it here for a day or so in case other people would enjoy it, and then move it.

Typo?
Canidae is the family that includes dogs, wolves, foxes, etc.

***
Never mind... I saw the image in question- Canidae indeed!
