cropped; how big was the beetle?
I cropped the image a bit for a better look at the beetle.

How big was it? - Chilocorus and Hyperaspis are quite small, even for the already-small family of lady beetles. I've been assuming it's in the 3mm (1/8 inch) range.

Sorry didn't notice your question because I was only following the thread on the other photo. It was quite small, I'd guess about half the size of the more familiar 7-spot, so yes, 3 mm seems about right.
