butterfly-hitchhiker on my mom's backpack. - Asterocampa clyton - Male
IJAMS Nature Center, Knoxville, Tennessee, Knox County, Tennessee, USA

Size: wingspan abt 2 inches.
My mom and I were packing our stuff into the car after a day at the IJAMS Nature Center in Knoxville, Tennessee, when we spotted this little hitchhiker on my mom's backpack strap. I would love to id it to species. I am sorry I was not able to get a shot with the wings spread. any help would be appreciated.
