Tobacco hornworm - Manduca sexta
- the tomato hornworm has a blue-black horn rather than red, and one more stripe on the side. The stripes also look a little different - sometimes described as v-shaped. See this Colorado State site for pictures of both. We have several images of these in the guide, but you might like to add your best one (this one, I think).
