Hooded owlet caterpillar on goldenrod (Euthamia graminifolia) - Cucullia

This caterpillar is on Euthamia graminifolia. It is near one of the pedicellate galls made by Rhopalomyia pedicellata. You can see the gall to the right of its head.

for the Asteroid! We think there are several Cucullia that look like this. Will have to wait for Wagner's new book to learn more about them.

I was beginning to narrow it down to Cuculia. According to HOSTS, Cuculia florea feeds on Euthamia graminifolia.
Thanks, genus is good enough for me right now.
