Collected a few of these beetles from a sparsely vegetated vacant lot a few minutes' walk from my house. They were either mating or feeding on the few plants that were there (not turnips though). Funny that this was my first time encountering these beetles after many collecting trips to relatively far flung places and it turned out that they were literally at my doorstep!
