"In this sharper view I would lean towards Brochymena cariosa[i]. The two species ([i]chelonoides and cariosa are sympatric in central Texas. In this specimen there appears to be more teeth on the anterolateral pronotal margin and the head looks longer making it more likely to be B. cariosa. These are, of course, variable characters. As the name implies, chelonoides is somewhat more convex dorso-ventrally than in other species."
