Thank you for the ID. :)

Moved from ID Request.

For sure, it's a syrphid, but I'm not sure which one.
A fairly safe guess is Tribe Syrphini, most likely Eupeodes sp. But, the face is very "beaky". Can you post another view or two?

Also, I suggest you move your post to Flies for expert attention. (I am but a talented amateur. LOL!)

Thank you but I do not know how to move my post to files...
also I only took three photos of this insect but the other two are blury.

How to move your post
Info can be found at the Help tab, which is sort of a mini-manual. Briefly...

Click on tag. You'll see a thumbnail of your post in the left margin.

Go to the Flies page, Images tab. Here's a link: http://bugguide.net/node/view/55/bgimage

Click move tagged images. That's it.

Blurry pictures
Sometimes, these can help you get an ID, and they can be deleted (Frassed) later. If either of the two you have shows the face a bit better, or the side of the fly, please add to your post. Select Add Image, then add info re: your file.

Thank you so much.

My pleasure
