9638 Copper Underwing - Amphipyra pyramidoides

9638 Copper Underwing - Amphipyra pyramidoides
Fredericton, York County, New Brunswick, Canada
September 20, 2009
This moth was caught by the edge of the wing in an old spider web at my front porch. Attracted to light, but found in the morning. I knocked it down and found it was still alive, but barely. I was able to flip it over to photograph the underside. It was gone by the afternoon, so it must have recovered. Id confirmed by Jim Edsall from image.
