Green Lynx Spider? - Peucetia viridans -  Escondido, San Diego County, California, USA September 19, 2005 Size: ~2 inches
I believe from looking at other shots on this site, that this is a Green Lynx Spider, but would like to know for sure. It has since created a gray egg sac which it is guarding on the rose bush, and I may be able to get a macro of the babies when they emerge (but the rose bloom will be quite dead by then ;0) Abdomen is also much thinner now.
