looks like the Western Conifer Seed Bug
Leptoglossus occidentalis. If it's not that it's something in the Leptoglossus genus. They're a type of leaf-footed bug. The name comes from the broad leaf-like legs. Here's one from CO with distinct markings, if it's the same exact species. I'm not 100% certain down to that level of ID.

Wow, thanks so much. I have been trying to find out what these things were since 2007 when they first appeared.

Now I can rest easy... as long as they don't try to crawl in my mouth while I snore.
