Albino Bee?

Albino Bee?
Walnut Creek, CA, Contra Costa Country County, California, USA
September 25, 2009
Size: 1/2 inch +
Black and white barred with long black and white antennae - well, longer than a "normal" honey bee - and green eyes. Definitely behaving like a bee.

maybe a Cuckoo Bee
Maybe a Cuckoo Bee

looks like a Sand Wasp, Subfamily Bembicinae
To me. I'm not going to stick my neck out for genus and species, as I've err'd on these before. Somebody else on here might know.
EDIT - I just noticed the size after posting. That might be a little small for what I'm thinking. Just going on its appearance.

Can't Tell. Too Many Cuckoos
Looking at Google's images of cuckoo bees, I don't see one that's identical, but I like the name.

yes
tribe Bembicini

Bembix sand wasp
That's it. Thank you all. I saw identical (yellow legs, black and white abdomen and antennae, and green eyes) one on Google. I would think that it would be somewhere near sand, but I've accepted common names. Should be called the black and white daisy wasp, but then someone would tell me there are no black and white daisies. (Ah, but there are.)

Thanks again.
