We would also have said thaddeus
Did you get to see it in its web? There should be a small lattice like retreat hidden at some end, maybe in a curled leaf.

Morning, Tom-

Another interesting orb weaver. If I had to take a guess, based strictly on comparing images, I'd say Araneus thaddeus. But let's see what the others have to say.
