brown worm/catipillar typed looking. lookd like a raisen. moves like a worm. found in basement. looks the same on both ends

Bot Fly larva??
I'm not really sure what this is, but it looks like a bot fly larva (Oestridae). Some bots parasitize rodents, and this one could have emerged from the animal looking for a place to pupate.
