Small Robberfly - Hypocritanus fascipennis - Male

Size: 1/4" to 1/2"
This guy was very difficult to see. He hovered quite a bit. This was the first time I actually caught him arest on a leaf. Wish I would have had my other lens on.

Thank you again John. I accidently unlinked my photo from another photo of this same insect. I don't know how to go about fixing that. It's the one where he is hovering. You all may want to frass it for all I know.
