Can someone please tell me what kind of spider this is? I have looked everywhere online, and cannot find a picture or description that describes this spider. Thanks!

I found one that looks just l
I found one that looks just like this in Central Florida. It looks so similar to a Pine Rockland Trapdoor spider (Ummidia richmond ) but they are supposedly only in South Florida. it has that lighter colored square on its back just like the one I saw. Interesting that the species was only recently discovered. I’m not sure if they’re the same thing but here’s a good article.

This could be a mouse spider, like a funnel web spider. The mouse/funnel web spiders are pretty much the worst spider to come across... This just looks like it by the pictures I have seen in the past.

Trapdoor spider
"We all live in a yellow submarine...." Oh, where did that come from?:-) This is a male trapdoor spider in the genus Ummidia. Neat find!
