Three's a crowd - Melittia grandis

Size: 1 inch long approx
I am guessing from existing photos in bugguide that this may be Melittia grandis--just a guess, though, I am not very good at moth IDs. I think there was some mating behavior going on here, but I didn't wait around to be sure.
