Pacarina puella ? (shoemakeri?)
The cicada above looks like Pacarina puella; however, it lacks the darker wing infuscation often seen in puella & "diagnostic of this species" (a trait that might be subject to variation and similar to shoemakeri?). The pronotum in this image seems to exhibit the centralized "hourglass-shaped" dark region described in shoemakeri (refer to the thumbnail pic's below).

Host association is usually MESQUITE.

Host association is usually JUNIPERS.
