Size: about the size quarter
I saw this amazing spider in my window. Cool web that is organized on the outside but gets disorganized on the inner portion.
I would love to know what type of spider it is..Thanks for any help

Araneus sp.
I'm not sure, but I'm pulling for Araneus gemma. It is hairy enough to fit that species, and I'm starting to wonder if that bright orange section on the femur may be at least sometimes diagnostic? I would very much like to see an image of the other side of this spider.
