Our Globe Locust trees are filled with these bugs and I would love to know what they are and whether they are beneficial or something to be concerned about.

I have a wood stove. my house is now full of these things. do they bite or sting??? how do i get rid of them?

 
We had the same problem when
We had the same problem when I was growing up. I don't know how you would get rid of them, besides finding them and throwing them outside. I did have several bite though.

Locust Borer Longhorn Beetle
