At first I thought I had inadvertently injured this Redbud Leaffolder when I opened the leaf, but, although I could tell it was not healthy, I could also see that there were three separate entities on it.

Result of a parasitic wasp?
I've seen similar stuff with Euplectres spp. although not identical to that.
