Sawfly? - Schizocerella pilicornis

Sawfly? - Schizocerella pilicornis
Spiderweb, Aiken County, South Carolina, USA
September 21, 2009
Size: ~6-8mm
Landed on my right hand (had to use camera left-handed) while I was in an area with a variety of plants, most notably live oaks, dogwoods, roses, cosmos, verbena, wild purslane, etc.
I don't think it's a Bra*conid based on the strongly veined wings and short antennae. The Bra*conids I looked at, with similar wing venation, all seem to have antennae that was as long or longer than their bodies.
