Moved
Moved from Crab Spiders. We think from the range maps that Colorado would be utahensis, so we will move these there.

Probably not Xysticus
The flattened carapace makes me think this is Coriarachne sp. (Thomisidae). I caught a female the other day, C. cf. utahensis, that looks very much like your spider. I'll post some pictures of mine once I've confirmed the ID. Yours appears to be an immature male.

I've got some images of both
I've got some images of both Bassaniana utahensis and B. versicolor, but they appear so similar that I am not sure I could tell them apart. John, can you post a ventral image? (I've got a ventral image by Jonathon Coddington that is a very close match to the specimen here.)

I will eventually
> John, can you post a ventral image?

It'll have to wait a while, but I will at some point. I haven't put the spider into alcohol yet. It is still alive.
