Thick-headed fly? - Physocephala

Size: ~ 10mm
-on stonecrop (Sedum var)-
Couldn't get close enough for a good shot. Is there enough detail to tell if this is Physocephala sp.? (No BugGuide pics of that genus from CT yet; figured this set might be better than nothing)
