Whitefly Nymph?

Whitefly Nymph?
Norfolk, Virginia, USA
September 27, 2009
Size: ~1.2mm
I do not know the species of host tree yet. Still trying to find it.

Moved
Moved from ID Request. The tree looks like hackberry to me. There are a lot of cool galls to be found on hackberry leaves.

Host plant
You can always feel free to temporarily post photos of leaves and other identifying features of host plants. I think you're right about this being a whitefly nymph. I recently found a link to a USDA site with a database of whitefly species and their hosts, but the link wasn't working for me.

I'll be back out there...
this weekend to shoot some images of the tree/leaves. The leaves attracted many different types of insects.
