Found at the edge of the beach and some vegetation-covered dunes.

I don't know my dragonflies yet. The ID would be appreciated. It might also help if editor(s) could update the dragonfly family pages to note each family's general characteristics. The dragonfly suborder page could also use some info. I'll get to work on it too. Guess I need a field guide!

male Common Pondhawk
This is a young male changing from the juvenile green(like the females) to the adult blue coloration.
